Collections and Remittances
On all funds successfully collected by CCR Inc., whether paid in trust to CCR or directly to the client, we will issue an itemized monthly statement/invoice detailing our commission, GST and remittance.
- Settlements
All Settlement proposals will be presented to the client for authorization.
- Legal Services and Advanced Costs
- Legal Action will not be commenced without the written authorization of the client and there are no advance costs. Where CCR engages a forwarding agent, we will ensure that legal costs are minimized to provide a maximum return.
Collections/Solicitor Network
All your collection needs can be fulfilled at Commercial & Consumer Recovery Inc. Our knowledge and experience provides superior results, which translates into liquidating your receivables even faster. Our customer and collection services are unparalleled. For certain accounts that require litigation, we are affiliated with a network of solicitors nationwide. However, more often than not you will not need a solicitor to collect the debt.
Skip Tracing and Asset DeterminationPart of the collection process is finding the individual responsible for payment. Our skip-tracing detective work can locate the purchaser by our using various databases. In addition to locating a purchaser, our skip tracing technology can confirm employment, banking and property ownership. This information alone can determine whether or not that the individual has the means to pay. This allows us to specifically focus on getting your money and protecting your interests.
Credit ReportingWe are members of North America's two largest credit reporting databases, Trans Union and Equifax. As part of our superior collection service, we provide all of the updating and reporting for you. There is no fee for this service and no membership required on your part. This saves you time and money all the while reducing your risk exposure to legal liability.
Placing the Account
CCR accepts account assignments by Fax, Diskette, CD-Rom, Zip Disk, Mail, and E-mail or by our On-Line Service. All new accounts assigned to CCR will be confirmed by our Client Acknowledgement Report. CCR guarantees that all information received by the client will be processed in the strictest of confidence pursuant to the Canadian Privacy Act.
Comprehensive Online ReportingCCR provides Real Time On-Line Client Status Reports detailing inventory levels and status of account. Our database runs on a high end Microsoft File Server. On a regular basis, we will also provide two additional reports, the Account Progress Report and Closed Account Report.
